Believe In Your Product - There are two very important things to believe in when trying to successfully sell a product or service. Number one, you must believe in yourself. Number two, you must believe in what you are selling. If you truly believe that you are serving the customer the best possible product or service, it will show.  If you are not a believer in your own product, you have a whole new set of problems to deal with. 
If you do not truly believe in your products and services, then what do you do? Whatever it is that you are in doubt of, you need to fix! You need to pinpoint exactly what you do not believe in and improve it — because if you do not believe in it, you will never be in danger of selling it.

Do You Believe? - If you are a true believer in the product and services that you are selling, you have every right in the world to look a consumer dead in the eyes and ask for their business.  Do you Believe in your product?  If you don't, let's talk about it, because unless you do, neither will anyone else.

For those of you who have read it - just a short summary -  We said that the most important ingredients for success in any business, are:

In the fist part we talked about knowing your product.  Today we'll talk about 

Understanding Your Product. 


Customers are more likely to trust people who are confident in themselves and what they are selling. You can build this confidence by increasing your knowledge of your products or services.  Nearly all sales experts agree that knowing at least the basics about your product is critical to selling it effectively.  However, understanding your product is even more helpful. The difference between product knowledge and product understanding? 'Knowledge' is the facts and figures, while 'understanding' is about realizing how those facts and figures affect your sales.

My Dream Job!  I’m an Online Marketer.  

 


Hi Everyone, Gabriela here. 

Today I wanted to talk a bit about the basis of our online business and thought I'd start our with a short introduction about me.

I started out my online endeavors practicing my writing skills at a blogging site called Fan Box, which also had an affiliate program.  I didn’t go there to make money, though I ended up making some.  That was my first experience and exposure to making money online, doing something I loved.  This is where I met Gerry.

I learned a few valuable things, such as:  making ads, selecting keywords, learning SEO.  I was learning the BUSINESS of my business - which was, selling online.  My product happened to be my writing....  It didn’t seem like hard work because I loved writing and people loved to read my writing. 

Here I am four years later, trying my hand at online marketing, promoting someone else's products.  This is what we are doing.  An affiliate, which is what we are, promotes a product that is not his own. 

So, let’s all pretend we just started out our online endeavors.  You will see later why we need to do this.

I’ve been at this online endeavor for about fourteen months and it just recently dawned to me that I am missing some basic ingredients from my online success recipe.  And guess what?  They are the first and most important elements of our success.  So, here they are:       
  • Know Your Product
  • Understand Your Product
  • Believe In Your Product

So, let’s talk about these ingredients which I bet 97% of marketers don’t bother to learn.  Exactly.  The same percentage that fail. 

Know Your Product - Product knowledge is an essential sales skill.  Do you know exactly what you are promoting?  When people ask you what you do --- what do you say?  I "do" GDI? or I do online marketing?   Really?  What do you market?  Hmmmm?   What do you market?    
Do most of you even know whether you promote a product or a service?   Which?  Both?   Does it matter?

  •  Traffic Wave Generic and Traffic Wave Matrix Buster
  •  All In One Profits 

PS: Now that you know GDI Generic is actually a product....  I want you to think up a good way to "present that product in the market".  Send me your ideas and we'll let the team vote on the suggestion they like most.

Don't immediately assume you don't know anything, or your ideas are not good enough, or someone else will have a better idea.  Try it.  It's part of the learning process.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Not believing that online marketing is for you.

This has to be the TOP mistake that you can make.

Is your mentality “let’s see if I can make some money online”?  Would you ever approach "real life" like that?  
"Let's see if I can make some money being a doctor... here we go... Done-For-You Medical Practice with REAL board certificates you can print out.  Tsk.  Too expensive though.  $10 a month.  And I don't even know if it will work!"

Maybe before the realities of the global financial meltdowns that hit in 2009 you never had to be serious about internet marketing because you had so many other options of making money.  

It's not that having a website in today’s world is a tough thing to do. If you sit down at the computer for five minutes, you can create a wide variety of websites and may never have to spend a single penny.
You can create a free blog on WordPress or Blogger. You can have a micro-site on HubPages or Squidoo. You can create a social networking presence on Facebook or Twitter. And you can even build your own website with services like Moonfruit, Weebly, WebStarts and MrSite.



Beginner Starting From Scratch, Displaced & Starting Over, Have Good Skills & Knowledge and STILL not making $$$?

Here’s another smart thing he did:
He created a One-Time Offer at the download page of the ebook. So when people downloaded the ebook, they will see the One-Time Offer.
Guess what?  In just 3 days after the launch of his product, he made more than $10,000 USD from the One-Time-Offer!!!
And that was just the beginning.
Look at what he had achieved from his little venture:
1. He made USD $10,000. Impressive but remember, it was just a one time earning.
2. But in the process, he built a substantial list of buyers. These are people who have paid for your product and are very likely to buy again and again. That’s invaluable!
3. He had built for himself a group of JV partners (the people who sold the ebook and took all the profit).  Don't you think they would be glad to sell his future products?  You bet!  That’s another invaluable resource!
So with Resource #2 and #3, his online business exploded and as many people like to say, the rest is history.
There are many other marketing strategies we'll be exploring.

Now let me ask you a serious question...
Is it really that tough to do what he did for his lucky break?
If your answer is yes, I have nothing to say. (I just feel sorry for you.)
If your answer is no, then what are you waiting for?  With the right strategies and guidance, you too can have a lucky break!  Lucky breaks don't just happen.  They're created!

So...ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Step 1 - Make a decision

Step 1 is to make a firm decision that you are going to make it in online marketing, no but, no however, no unless, no excuses!
If step 1 is not accomplished, there is no need to proceed to the other steps. Quit now and go back to your comfort zone. Internet marketing is not for you. Nothing is, until you make a decision.
Here’s a little secret about the universe:
Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.

Opportunities will be open to you. Ideas will come to you. Your saviour will appear.
So, before everything else, make your decision first.


Step 2 - Stop looking for shortcuts

Forget about shortcuts or quick cash. There is no shortcut. What does exist is leverage.
To make money fast, you need to leverage. You leverage on advertising and strategies  to bring you more traffic in a shorter time. You leverage on freelancers to save your time and provide skills that would otherwise take you time to learn.
Other than leverage, there is no shortcut. You have to take the down-to-earth ‘boring’ steps of building a sales funnel, promoting it and doing all the maintenance work.
I’m not saying online marketing is boring.  It is tough initially because you’re still learning. Just like the first time you ride a bicycle. It was tough wasn't it? But once you got used to it, it’s was fun and easy.


Step 3 - Decide on a business model

There are so many ways to make money online. You can make money from Adsense, PPC ads, Affiliate Marketing, Ebay, Amazon,  MLM, Your Own Product/Service... and you can present yourself to the online world with... A blog, A website, A newsletter, A Membership Site, A Forum, Sales Pages, Landing Pages or All Of These..
So your 3rd crucial step is to decide on the business model and niche that you want to adopt.
If you want to make money fast, one way is to become an instant guru!
I’ve seen many newbies who position themselves as a guru and start teaching people how to make money online. It works! Many of them who ‘dare’ to pretend to be a guru eventually becomes a real guru.
As a guru, you need to have your own website, your own product and your own affiliate program. Like the one that you have via GDI, and any other program you are working with.


Step 4 - Don't Be a cheapskate

When I first started online, I was really behaving like a cheapskate. I signed up to lots of newsletters and spent time reading all the free articles I could find.
But when I started to make some money and gathered enough courage to invest in myself and my dream, that was when my internet marketing skills really took off to work to attract money.  Whenever I've stepped away from putting myself and my money into my work, my income suffers.  When I become consistent and invest..., money rolls up it's sleeves and starts working for me again.  What about you?


Step 5 - Keep learning and keep working

Remember, there is no shortcut. You've got to work hard and you've got to learn fast while you work.
In offline businesses, you can hardly learn because very few people are willing to teach you.
The good thing about online business is that many people are willing to teach you, for free or for a very small fee. As long as you have your own business set up and are willing to learn the ropes, you will eventually grow and become another guru.
Lastly, after today, don’t ever call yourself an internet marketing newbie again. The faster you believe you are the guru, the faster you can succeed online.

have been since February 2014. I 

must say I find this role very 

challenging and fulfilling.  

really want to help my down-line 

members out more so than for myself as a mission for me to accomplish 

in long term.  I care for every single member in our group (including my 

up-lines) and want to help everyone as much as I can.


I am also one who keeps on trying and trying and never giving up.  

If I fall I get right back up and try again.  Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all always remember that fail is just another form of the word fall?  When we fail we want to give up.  But, when we fall we naturally understand, we don't give up, we just get up, brush ourselves off and go again.  

This all stems from growing up with a hearing impairment.  I could have adopted a victim mentality to "get by", but I learned from my mother early on; Patience, acceptance and positive thinking, would do a much better job of helping me to not just overcome my struggles within the hearing world, but to thrive and lack no more than anyone else.  Does that mean   I don't still struggle every day?  Of course, not.  We each have different challenges that are not meant to beat us, but are meant to make us break out, like a butterfly struggling out of it's cocoon to fly as one of God's most breathtaking creatures!   It was my mother who taught me three things that have empowered me to find success in doing what I want to do.  

                                             1.  Keep at it.
                                             2.  Keep at it.
                                             3.  Keep at it.


What do I want to do?  I want to help myself as well as everyone else off-line or online.  I keep at it and keep at it and keep at it....falling a number of times, but each time getting right back up! 

It also helps me to accomplish my mission of building the good solid team that we have now...GDI Team Elite!  Although, I realize I cannot do it alone,  but with the good team effort that we have, we will be successful!

It Is a Challenge to               Succeed

It is a challenge to succeed. If it were not, I'm sure more people would be successful, but for every person who is enjoying the fruit from the tree of success, many more are examining the roots. They are trying to figure it all out. They are mystified and perplexed by what seems to be some strange, complex and elusive secret that must be found if ever success is to be enjoyed. While most people spend most of their lives struggling to earn a living, a much smaller number seem to have everything going their way. Instead of just earning a living, the smaller group is busily engaged in designing and enjoying a fortune. Everything just seems to work out for them—while the much larger group sits in awe at how life can be so unfair, complicated and unjust.

“I am a nice person,” the man says to himself. “How come this other guy is happy and prosperous, and I'm always struggling? I am a good husband, a good father and a good worker. How come nothing seems to work out for me? Life just isn't fair. I'm even smarter and willing to work harder than some of these other people who just seem to have everything going their way.” He says all this as he slumps into the sofa to watch another evening of television.

You see, you've got to be more than a good person and a good worker. You've got to become a good planner and a good dreamer. You've got to see the future finished in advance. You've got to put in the long hours and put up with the setbacks and the disappointments. You've got to learn to enjoy the process of disciplines and of putting yourself through the paces of doing the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable. You've got to be prepared and willing to attack the challenges if you want the success—because challenges are part of success.

Now that may sound like a full menu of activities, but let me assure you that the process of going from average to fortune isn't really all that difficult. Thinking about it is the difficult part. Anticipating all the effort and the changes and the disciplines is far worse in the mind than in reality. I can promise you that the challenges you'll meet on the road to success are far less difficult to deal with than the struggles and the disappointments that come from being average. Confronting and overcoming challenges is an exhilarating experience. It does something to feed the soul and the mind. It makes you more than you were before. It strengthens the mental muscles and enables you to become better prepared for the next challenge.
I’d like for you to discover what you want to do with your life. Why not make it an adventure in achievement? Why not discover what all you can do and what all you can have? Why not discover how many others you can help and in the process how that can help you?

Why not take the challenge to succeed?

WHAT IS A ROTATOR & 
            HOW DO WE USE THEM IN GDI TEAM ELITE?

      Team Leaders are often asked if GDI uses "rotators" in their collective advertising system and we say, "No".

        Well, now wait a minute...   if you put your Team Link in your browser's address bar and click it several times you are going to see approximately 5 different advertising pages - capture pages, perhaps splash pages.  Very obviously you are using a rotator.

       We answer the question we know we are being asked...  do we put our team members on a rotator and the rotator "picks" the member links that are randomly promoted and that person is getting the sign ups.  No, we DO NOT do that, though many teams DO and some people end up waiting a year or more for their promised sign ups.

        We reject that model.

Then how do we accomplish the phenomenal system of PAID signups we have?

By doing something very few (if any) marketers do.

First of all, we promote GDI using a system of collective advertising where 100 credits in each of at least 6 traffic exchanges per day totals 3600 credits per day in a 6 person team. No random rotators "pick" the person who next gets their six.  Our Team Leaders work closely with their teams and know who is eligible, who is next and is working with every individual on their team.  .

Of course the exact formula and instructions remain confidential.  When you are trained as a TeamLeader you learn exactly how to set up (duplicate) the same system your Leader(s) apply.

Does it work? Absolutely! 36-48 traffic exchanges and 3600-4800 credits per day will result in 6 sign ups in a very short period of time. 


What is a "rotator"?

Used properly it's your 'secret' to success.  You might be picturing some sort of little whirly piece of machinery rotating in a blur... No, that's not it.  Actually it's a bit of ingenious script that allows you to group a number of urls together and create one super url.  There are companies who maintain these scripts and allow you to use them.  Some are free (usually they add an 'ad' of their own to the mix).  Free rotators are usually limited.  Many for profit rotators will allow you unlimited submissions.   You find a company you like, depending on your needs.  They will have you create a campaign name and a form where you can list the urls you wish to include in the rotator script.  They set it all up for you and generate your one url out of  2, 4, 8 or more individual urls.   Voila!  Now with 1 url you are showing multiple sites.  Depending on what your urls are and where they redirect to you have INSTANTLY MULTIPLIED YOUR PROMOTIONS.

So you can see WHY it is critical that every team member gets the number of hits we ask for.  1000 is really not very hard to surf up -- especially if you use Tools like Click Earner for Safelists and Traffic Browser for Traffic Exchanges.  [See Tools, Traffic & Resources].  I'll be adding some AWESOME stuff for you there (watch for freebies!) t

I can't tell you enough how important it will be for you to follow this Team Blog.  Not that I know everything...  but I've learned from some of the best and I hope to pass what I can to you.  It's cliche, but I succeed when you do and not until then.

Try that formula:  If each one of you would surf 100 credits per day on a minimum of 6 to 7 sites -- this would be about 600-700 credits total each day on safelists & TE's  ( NO AUTOSURFS ALLOWED:  It wastes your time and can even collapse our system.  It will be dealt with if you ignore our request.)  as a Team we will be advertising in large enough numbers to overcome the free and highly competitive TE's. They DO work when we work them - so save your money on paid advertising.

You will be learning many things here with GDI Team Elite - but your highest priority right now is to get those hits.  We'll grow you a team for you to lead and an income you've dreamed of.
